I'm Joe Ortega, a husband, father, Southern California native, and a Disney dad.

My love for design started early. Growing up around Disney, I was always drawn to the intention behind how things looked and felt, the details, the storytelling, the craft. When I picked up Photoshop, something clicked. I started making flyers for events and concerts across Southern California, teaching myself everything by doing it until it felt right.

Professionally, I've spent years leading fire and life safety operations, overseeing large California portfolios, vendor performance, compliance workflows, and field teams. That work sharpened something in me: an eye for detail, a discipline for getting things right, and a real understanding of what it means for a business to show up professionally. That foundation underlies everything I build at Clarity Spaces.

I built this studio because I kept seeing small businesses settle for templates that looked like everyone else's. They deserved better. Every site I build is custom-coded from scratch, with no shortcuts, no page builders, no copy-and-paste designs. When I'm not designing, I'm with my wife and our kids, probably finding any excuse to visit Disney.
